Asia's startup ecosystem had a dynamic week, with more than $535.8 million raised across 13 deals spanning robotics, cleantech, foodtech, microchips, AI, and consumer platforms. While China and Singapore continued to lead in high-value tech investments, India made notable moves in digital platforms, food, and drone technology.

China’s MiniMax, an AI startup rapidly gaining attention in the generative AI space, topped the charts this week with a $300 million funding round, bringing its valuation to a staggering $4 billion. The company is building large language models and interactive AI agents for both enterprise and consumer use and plans to accelerate its R&D and commercialization efforts with the new capital.

In Singapore, renewable energy provider Cleantech Solar secured $140 million in green loans. The funding will be used to develop and expand solar projects across Southeast Asia, targeting both commercial and industrial clients looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

China's SmartData, an AI infrastructure provider, raised $28 million in a Series A+ funding round to scale its AI computing power and expand into new sectors. Meanwhile, Yanshan Technology, a micro-LED chip developer also in China, raised $14 million in a pre-Series A round to enhance chip R&D and ramp up production capabilities.

Two other Chinese startups also pulled in $14 million each this week. Link-Touch, a robotics force sensor startup, closed a Series B round for overseas expansion, research and development, and talent acquisition.

On the other hand, Yarbo, known for its AI-powered snow-clearing and outdoor robotics, secured funding through a Series B+ round for R&D, supply chain upgrades, and international expansion.

Augmentus, although based in Singapore, also added to the robotics theme with its $11 million Series A+ funding round to scale its no-code robotics systems.

In India, Lo! Foods, a health-focused food brand, raised $3.5 million in Series B funding to expand warehousing, enhance backend technology, and launch offline pilots in Bengaluru. Following closely, India's Trupeer, an AI video platform, secured $3 million in seed funding to support its aim of reinventing how teams create product videos, tutorials, and walkthroughs.

Mumbai-based Knot, a quick fashion delivery startup, also raised $3 million to enhance product features and user acquisition efforts. Zeus Hygia, an Indian manufacturer of nutraceutical ingredients, brought in $2.5 million in Series A funding to scale its operations and enter new markets.

Zuppa, an Indian drone-tech company, secured $1.5 million in a bridge round to expand its defense drone tech, which operates without GPS or high-bandwidth internet.

Finally, Deep Algorithm Solutions, a cybersecurity and AI startup based in India, raised $1.3 million in seed funding to grow its engineering and threat intelligence teams, boost market activities in the country, and enhance its fraud analytics and behavioral AI engine.
