Asia’s startup scene delivered another busy week, raising more than $234 million across sectors such as AI nanomedicine, consumer tech, fintech, gaming, HR tech, and water treatment. India once again dominated the charts with a high volume of deals, while notable contributions came from Singapore, China, and Japan.

Topping the charts this week was China’s METiS Technologies, which raised $55.6 million in Series D funding to push forward its work in AI-powered nanomedicine. Next up, The Sleep Company, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) comfort tech brand from India, secured $54.8 million to expand its product line, enhance in-store and online retail, and strengthen operations across the country.

Also in India, fintech platform Fibe (formerly EarlySalary) raised $26.5 million through non-convertible debentures (NCDs) to scale up its digital lending operations, increase its borrower base, and enhance credit products focused on salaried professionals.

India's RENÉE Cosmetics, a fast-growing beauty brand, brought in $30 million in a Series C round to broaden its product line, grow its omnichannel presence in Tier I and Tier II cities, boost brand marketing, and upgrade its backend infrastructure.

On the gaming front, India’s SuperGaming raised $15 million in Series B funding to expand its roster of mobile games and grow its development team.

From Japan, Kotoba Technologies secured $11.83 million in Seed 2 funding to accelerate its AI speech technology. Meanwhile, Zype, a digital lending platform from India, raised $10.2 million to expand its presence.

In India’s debt recovery space, DPDzero raised $7 million to build out its AI-driven collections platform, helping financial institutions reduce non-performing assets through smart tracking and engagement tools. Still in India, TurboHire, an AI-based hiring platform, brought in $6 million in Series A funding to enhance its product capabilities and scale globally.

Moving away from India, Singapore-based SG Enviro, which develops eco-friendly water treatment solutions, raised $6 million to scale its operations in Southeast Asia, focusing on industrial water sustainability and pollution control.

Back in India, GameRamp, a seed-stage startup building AI tools for mobile game developers, raised $5.4 million to grow its team in India and the U.S. and expand product integrations with game engines and analytics platforms.

Outzidr, a Gen Z-focused fashion brand from India, raised $3.1 million in a pre-Series A round to expand online and offline channels, including launching physical stores by 2026 and starting a fast delivery service.

Finally, Cautio, a visual telematics and road safety tech startup from India, raised $3 million in seed funding to enhance its AI models, grow its team, and scale into more Indian cities.
