Leaked images suggest the iPhone 18 Pro could arrive with a smaller Dynamic Island. Early details point to a reduced cutout at the top of the screen, giving more usable display space and a cleaner look overall.
The latest images were shared by known leaker Majin Bu, who claimed the design shows a much smaller cutout at the top of the screen. While the image is likely a mockup, it lines up with other reports that point in the same direction.
Another leak from Vadim Yuryev suggests the size could drop from just over 20mm on earlier models to around 15mm on the new version. That is a noticeable reduction, even if it sounds like a small number.
A separate claim from Ice Universe goes even further, saying the cutout could shrink to about 13.5mm. None of these leaks is confirmed, but together they point in the same direction, a smaller and less distracting design.
When Apple introduced the Dynamic Island with the iPhone 14 Pro, it changed how notifications and background tasks appeared on the screen. Instead of a fixed notch, it became something interactive that could expand and shrink depending on what you are doing.
