/1. Kapital, $130M, Fintech, Mexico
Mexican financial technology company Kapital secured $130M in a combination of equity and debt financing as it expands its AI-powered banking operations. The company also acquired US-based AI firm Woz Code for $30M, a separate transaction that should not be added to its funding total. The latest financing brings Kapital's valuation to $2B.
Kapital plans to use the funding to strengthen its AI platform, expand its financial services, and support operations across its markets. The acquisition of Woz Code is expected to add engineering expertise and AI development capabilities to its existing technology infrastructure.
/2. Asaas, $55.6M, Fintech, Brazil
Brazilian financial management platform Asaas raised R$300M (approximately $55.6M) through its third receivables investment fund, a FIDC. The financing will help the company extend credit to small and medium-sized businesses by advancing payments tied to their card transactions.
The latest issuance is Asaas's largest FIDC to date, bringing the total raised through these funds to R$450M. The company serves around 300,000 active monthly clients, and receivables financing has become a key part of its credit operations.
/3. Reuse, $21M, Circular Economy, Chile
Chilean refurbished electronics startup Reuse raised a $21M Series A led by At One Ventures, marking the investor's first investment in Chile. The company manages trade-in programmes for retailers, telecommunications companies and electronics brands, then refurbishes and resells used devices with a 13-month warranty at prices of up to 30% below new products.
Reuse will use the funding to enter Colombia, expand its presence across Latin America, strengthen integrations with commercial partners, and invest in its technology. The company generated $30M in revenue in 2025 and expects to reach $55M in net revenue in 2026.
