Nintendo is not letting The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time make its big return alone.
Alongside the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 remake, LEGO and Nintendo have revealed a new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – Link & Epona set, giving fans a chance to recreate one of the series' most recognisable pairings in LEGO.
The set is made up of 1,750 pieces and features adult Link riding Epona, complete with the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. Epona is posed rearing on her hind legs, giving the entire build a much more dramatic display-piece feel than a conventional LEGO playset.
And there is a little more to this than simply another Zelda set.
What is the LEGO Zelda Link & Epona set?
The new LEGO set recreates Link and Epona from Ocarina of Time, specifically the adult version of Link.
Link sits on Epona with his signature weapons and shield, while the horse is positioned in a dynamic rearing pose. The design even appears to take some visual inspiration from Jacques-Louis David's famous Napoleon Crossing the Alps painting.
At 1,750 pieces, this is a substantial build, although it is still smaller than LEGO's enormous Great Deku Tree set.
LEGO has not yet revealed every detail, including the final price, but the company has confirmed that the set will arrive in spring 2027.
That release window is important because it puts the set just months after the launch of the Ocarina of Time remake.
