Kibo School, a Nigeria-based edtech firm focusing on STEM education has raised $2 million in its seed round funding led by Neo, a VC firm.

  • The fund will be used to support its plans to launch degree programs on its platforms and expand its coverage in Africa.
  • Kibo School offers online STEM degree programs targeted at African students.
  • The firm has opened the program to students in six cities including Nigeria, Kenya, and Ghana, and now at a reach of $2.4 million fundraise since its launch.
  • Pledges, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, Trascend Network, and a clutch of angel investors participated in the round.
