Fans of Palworld will soon be able to take the creature-collecting survival experience wherever they go. Following the successful 1.0 launch of the original game, Garena has officially unveiled Palworld Online, a new open-world MMORPG set to launch on iOS and Android later this year.
Originally developed by Pocketpair, Palworld became one of 2024's biggest gaming successes by blending creature collection with open-world survival, base building, crafting, and multiplayer gameplay.
Players capture and befriend creatures known as Pals, which can fight alongside them, help automate production lines, farm resources, and assist with exploration across a vast world.
Building on that success, Palworld Online is not a direct port of the PC and console game. Instead, it is being developed as a standalone mobile title that expands the franchise with a brand-new world, original storylines, and gameplay systems designed specifically for smartphones, offering both longtime fans and newcomers a fresh way to experience the universe.
Palworld Online Brings the Survival Experience to Mobile
According to Garena, Palworld Online recreates the freedom, exploration, and survival mechanics that made the original game a global hit while optimizing the experience for mobile devices.
Players will still be able to:
- Explore a vast open world
- Capture and collect Pals
- Build and manage bases
- Craft weapons, tools, and equipment
- Team up with friends in cooperative multiplayer
