Popular short-video-sharing app, TikTok has announced the launch of its new product called Pulse Premiere – which gives advertisers control and predictability to place their ads directly after content from premium publisher content on TikTok's For You feed.

According to the company, the offering is an extension of TikTok's Pulse program, which already allows marketers to place their brand alongside the top 4% of content on the platform.

With Pulse Premiere, TikTok which has largely only focused on independent creators will now cater to both independent creators and premium publishers while providing advertisers with a unique opportunity to reach a wider audience on the platform.

Like the original TikTok Pulse program, Premiere draws comparisons to YouTube Select, which also creates category-specific packages of top content to sell to advertisers.

The social media platform said brands including Buzzfeed, DotDash Meredith, NBCUniversal, UFC and WWE will be the first to join at the launch of the product called Pulse Premiere on May 4.
