Startups across Africa, the Middle East and Israel raised a combined $105.2 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds tracked by Techloy, with investor capital flowing mostly into agritech and AI. East Africa Foods' $40 million raise was the biggest, and two Israeli AI startups, Rein Security and enso, added another $40 million between them.

Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Africa, the Middle East and Israel this week.
/1. East Africa Foods, $40M, Agritech, Tanzania
East Africa Foods, a Dar es Salaam company that buys from more than 28,000 small farmers and supplies city retailers, has pulled together $40 million. The raise includes a $26 million Series B led by PIDG's InfraCo, with the rest from existing shareholders and debt from the Schmidt Family Foundation, and it'll go toward more processing, storage, and transport capacity, plus a move into Kenya.
/2. Rein Security, $25M, AI Cybersecurity, Israel
Companies are adopting AI agents faster than they can secure them, and Rein Security, co-headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv, sells software that watches what those agents do while they run and blocks harmful actions. Glilot Capital and Sienna Venture Capital co-led the $25 million Series A, with Corner Ventures, Atlacle and RNP Capital Advisors joining, and the money goes toward product development, security research and hiring.
