PlayStation Store has officially revealed the top downloaded games for April 2026 across PS5, PS4, PS VR2, and free-to-play categories,  with robotic adventures, sports giants, and open-world RPGs leading the month’s biggest winners.

Among the standout performers were Pragmata, Crimson Desert, and NTE: Neverness to Everness, all of which made strong debuts on PlayStation charts.

Here’s everything that topped the PlayStation Store charts in April 2026.

MLB The Show 26 and EA Sports FC 26 Lead PS5 Downloads

On PS5, MLB The Show 26 claimed the number one spot in the US and Canada, while EA Sports FC 26 dominated European downloads.

One of the month’s biggest breakout titles was Pragmata, which landed at number two in North America and cracked the top five in Europe following renewed excitement around the long-awaited sci-fi title.

Meanwhile, Crimson Desert continued building momentum globally, ranking third in the US and second in Europe.

Other major PS5 chart performers included Starfield, Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and Hades II.

The charts also showed strong interest in horror and survival titles, with Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Requiem making appearances.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Still Rules PS4

Despite being years old, Red Dead Redemption 2 once again topped PS4 downloads in both North America and Europe.

The enduring popularity of Rockstar’s western epic continues to dominate PlayStation’s older console generation.

Other consistent performers included Gang Beasts, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Minecraft, and Batman: Arkham Knight.
