A major leak was revealed on the 12th of December, 2025 about the next iPhone update coming this spring. According to reports from Macworld and MacRumors, the upcoming iOS 26.4 update will feature artificial intelligence and health integration, bringing a smarter Siri and a redesigned Health app alongside several long-awaited utility features. 

Here are some of the standout features:

A Smarter, More Personal Siri

A major upgrade is coming to Siri. Powered by Apple Intelligence, the new Siri is described as "smarter and personalized."

This suggests Apple is moving beyond simple voice commands, utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to create an assistant that understands context better and interacts more naturally than ever before. 

Redesigned Health App & AI Health+

iOS 26.4 is coming with a complete redesign of the Health app. The leak shows a completely new design, likely aiming to make health data simpler to view and navigate. 

The update also mentions "AI Health+." The use of "Plus" in the name, similar to Fitness+, suggests this might be a paid subscription. Instead of just showing charts and numbers, this feature would use AI to act like a personal coach, analysing your health data to give you specific advice and insights. 

Enhanced Security and Connectivity

The leak also highlights improvements for security and accessories: 

  • Device Validation: Apple is adding a new check for Apple ID and iCloud. This ensures your device is safe and genuine before allowing you to sign in. 
  • AirPods Outdoor Location: Finding lost AirPods outside will get easier. A new feature in Find My will help you pinpoint their exact location when you are outdoors.

Productivity and Organization 

The update brings useful changes for organization and daily tasks: 

  • Freeform Folders: You can finally create folders in the Freeform app. This makes it much easier to organize your boards and keep your workspace tidy. 
  • Passwords AutoFill: The Passwords app will now fill in your login details directly inside other apps, so you don't have to copy and paste them. 

If Apple follows its usual schedule, iOS 26.4 should arrive later this year. But beta versions are expected to roll out tomorrow, January 7, 2026.

While leaks aren't official, the code evidence is strong. These updates show that Apple is focused on fixing complaints and pushing heavily into AI before the major iOS 27 release later this year.
