Apple is reportedly working on two Studio Display iterations

Hopefully, we get them as soon as possible because it's about time!

It's been about three years since we got the original Studio Display or any monitor from Apple. And the even more impressive Pro Display XDR, which everyone adored and cost $5000, has been around for six years.

So, many people will think it's about time (or even long overdue) for an update or at least a new monitor. Gladly, I come bearing good news: rumour has it Apple is cooking up not one but two new versions of its Studio Display.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who's usually spot-on with his Apple info, is reporting that these new monitors are in development. Gurman's sources have revealed two new models - the first is code-named J427, while the second is referred to as J527

We don't have all the details yet, but speculation is running wild. And be rest assured that as soon as any vital information about the displays is out, I will make an update.

Speaking of which, the new displays might feature different screen sizes or upgraded specifications. Maybe we'll see a larger display for professionals or a more affordable option for everyday users.

Apple could even choose to launch one or both of these new monitors next year. Given how long it's been since the last update, I'm hoping they'll surprise us with both!

Apple’s M4 MacBook Air and Mac Studio are here—but are they worth the hype?
Here’s what’s new in both devices.
