April 2026 is bringing a tight but varied trio of games to PlayStation Plus, blending punishing soulslike combat, classic action-adventure nostalgia, and large-scale anime co-op battles. Whether you want to test your reflexes, revisit gaming history, or jump into multiplayer chaos with friends, this month’s lineup covers very different corners of the gaming spectrum.
The new games will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers: Essential, Extra, and Premium, from Tuesday, April 7, until Monday, May 4.
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming to your library in April:
/1. Lords of the Fallen (PS5)

Lords of the Fallen drops players into a dark, interconnected world where death is not the end, but part of the journey. You play as one of the Dark Crusaders tasked with overthrowing Adyr, a resurrected demon god whose rule has plunged humanity into chaos.
A major hook here is the dual-realm mechanic. Players can shift between the world of the living and the dead, using each realm to uncover paths, secrets, and advantages during exploration and combat.
The game features nine character classes, hundreds of weapons, magic abilities, and a combat system built around precision and timing. Expect towering boss fights, punishing encounters, and deep character builds that reward experimentation and patience.
/2. Tomb Raider I-III Remastered (PS5, PS4)

This collection brings Lara Croft’s first three adventures back to modern consoles with upgraded visuals while preserving the option to switch back to the original polygon look at any time.
The bundle includes Tomb Raider I, II, and III, along with all their expansions and secret levels, making this the most complete way to experience the original trilogy on modern hardware.
A new Challenge Mode adds replay value by letting players revisit levels with custom modifiers. Completing these challenges unlocks new outfits that enhance Lara’s abilities, adding a fresh layer to games many players may already know by heart.
/3. Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream (PS5)

Set in the Sword Art Online universe, Fractured Daydream leans heavily into large-scale multiplayer co-op. A malfunctioning system called Galaxia pulls characters from across time and space into a fractured timeline, forcing unlikely allies to work together.
Players can choose from 21 characters drawn from different arcs of the franchise, each with defined battlefield roles. The game supports raid-style encounters with up to 20 players split into five parties of four, encouraging teamwork and coordinated strategy to take down high-difficulty bosses.
It’s built for online play and makes full use of the PlayStation Plus multiplayer ecosystem.
