The iconic consumer audio brand Beats is back with a new pair of premium headphones. And yes, it's just Beats now, not Beats by Dre, following Apple's acquisition of the company years ago.
Beats has officially announced the Beats 360, its first new high-end over-ear headphones in years. Beats 360 has a September 24, 2026 release date, with orders already open at $349.99. They come with one standout feature: removable, interchangeable ear cushions that let you swap colours depending on your mood.
For starters, the Beats Studio Pro isn't going away; it's simply getting a price cut. But the Beats 360 is a complete rethink of what Beats' over-ear headphones can be. Beats is betting that customization and comfort matter just as much as sound quality.

Does Beats 360 have better sound and stronger ANC?
The Beats 360 features a completely redesigned acoustic architecture that delivers up to 1.75x stronger active noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro. Beats also claims a 12dB increase in output while maintaining clarity across all frequencies with minimal distortion.
Eight microphones analyse both the inside and outside acoustic environment to improve noise cancellation and call quality. Transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings naturally, while turning off both ANC and Transparency activates Adaptive EQ, which automatically tunes the sound based on the fit of the headphones.
The Beats 360 also supports Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, allowing the soundstage to move naturally as you turn your head.
The design comes with interchangeable cushions
The Beats 360 comes in four colours: Black, Cloud (off-white), Pink, and Sky (light blue).
The ear cushions and headband cushions are removable and interchangeable, allowing you to mix and match different colour combinations.
Separate Performance Knit cushion kits are available in all four standard colours, plus Volt (a neon yellow-green) and Navy. Beats is also selling UltraPlush engineered leather cushion kits.
Cushion kits normally cost $49.99, but for a limited time in select markets they'll be available for $9.99.
The Beats 360 is the first pair of Beats over-ear headphones to feature an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating, making them better suited for workouts and outdoor use.
