Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 are heading to PS5 and PS4 later this month, but a leaked trophy list suggests the re-releases won't be exact copies of the originals. Several achievements tied to classic multiplayer features appear to be missing from the ported versions, according to reports.
The trophies, first spotted online and shared by X user ForwardLeaks, closely mirror the original PlayStation 3 lists. But several achievements tied to older multiplayer modes seem to have disappeared, leading to speculation that some fan-favorite features didn't make the jump to PS5 and PS4.
While Activision has confirmed both Black Ops re-releases will include their campaigns, multiplayer, and Zombies modes, the missing trophies point to a handful of legacy features including Theater Mode, Wager Matches, and League Play, that may not be returning.
Among the biggest omissions is Theater Mode, a feature introduced in the original Black Ops that allowed players to replay multiplayer matches from different camera angles. Long before gameplay capture became standard on consoles, it was one of the community's favourite tools for creating montages, tutorials, and cinematic videos.
