Activision has revealed Season 5 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, with the update arriving on Thursday, July 23.

The new season brings four multiplayer maps, a brand-new Verdansk point of interest, additional weapons, limited-time game modes, Ranked Play rewards, and the next chapter of the Zombies experience. At the same time, it's also expanding Endgame with Burn Run, a high-stakes mission that challenges players to keep a bomb-rigged vehicle moving before time runs out.

In Burn Run, players must race through explosive checkpoints while eliminating enemies and smashing obstacles to extend the countdown timer and keep the vehicle from detonating.

Season 5 also introduces Ability Boosts, enabling players to upgrade both Major and Minor Abilities in Zone IV and Nightmare regions with reduced cooldowns, extra ammunition, and other combat enhancements designed to improve survivability during late-game encounters.
