Team Jade has officially launched Season Morphosis, the latest major update for its free-to-play tactical shooter Delta Force, and it’s shaping up to be one of the game’s biggest expansions yet.
The update delivers a new playable operator, a fully destructible urban warfare map, fresh multiplayer modes, expanded extraction content, and several long-requested quality-of-life improvements, all while continuing the game’s evolving story.

“The line is drawn, the waters have grown. Start swimming, or you'll sink like a stone. For the times, they are a-changing. Be part of the Morphosis, the new season now LIVE on PC, mobile, and console,” the company said in its announcement.
Now live across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and mobile, Season Morphosis takes Delta Force further into large-scale, squad-driven combat, with deeper tactical depth and more player choice. With full cross-save support, players can jump into the action seamlessly across platforms.
What Updates are Coming
The standout addition this season is Vlinder, a new Support Operator designed around keeping squads alive in high-pressure combat. She deploys healing butterfly drones and rescue UAVs that stabilise teammates in dangerous situations, making her especially useful during intense firefights and objective pushes.
Vlinder’s toolkit reinforces Delta Force’s growing emphasis on coordinated team play rather than solo heroics, encouraging squads to move together, recover faster, and hold contested areas longer.
Season Morphosis also introduces Aftershock, a brand-new Warfare map built around full-scale urban destruction. Buildings can be levelled, structures can collapse, and seismic events can reshape the battlefield mid-match, forcing teams to adapt on the fly.
Instead of static chokepoints and predictable cover, Aftershock turns every match into a dynamic environment where positioning, timing, and creative movement matter more than memorising layouts.
Two new modes headline the update. Flashpoint throws the entire lobby into a fight over a single objective that constantly shifts locations, keeping teams mobile and matches unpredictable. It’s fast, chaotic, and rewards squads that can adapt quickly under pressure.
In Fiery Owl Hunt, part of Operations mode, players flip roles entirely by stepping into the shoes of the boss Saeed and his guards. Instead of infiltrating enemy territory, squads now defend it, adding a fresh twist to Delta Force’s extraction gameplay and creating tense, asymmetrical encounters.
Operations mode also expands with new areas added to Space City, along with swimming mechanics that open underwater routes for stealth flanks and escape strategies. These changes significantly broaden how players approach missions and navigate danger zones.
The update also introduces a new boss, Alonso Hudson, the Efficiency Director, offering one of the mode’s toughest encounters yet and raising the stakes for high-level squads looking for greater rewards.
Season Morphosis delivers several updates straight from community feedback. These include solo-queue matchmaking for Layali Grove, expanded vehicle customisation, and a new Normal difficulty tier for Tide Prison, making the mode more accessible without losing its tactical edge.
Together, these improvements make Delta Force more flexible, welcoming both casual players and hardcore squads without compromising depth.
