With September approaching, several accelerator and fellowship programmes are still accepting applications from people looking to grow their work, access funding, or gain new opportunities and connections.
We’ve rounded up five programmes currently open for applications, including what they offer, who can apply, and the deadlines to keep in mind.
/1. 5G-DiGITS EU Accelerator
The 5G-DiGITS Accelerator programme is a transnational, challenge-based programme backed by a European network of universities, mentors, and industry partners for student-led startup teams working on the fifth generation of mobile wireless (5G/B5G) and green technology.
Over the course of four months, teams will work on real industry challenges posted by a Challenge Owner company, with the entire programme, workshops, mentoring, and pitch prep built around delivering a solution that solves a genuine market problem.
In addition, each startup gets a dedicated Lead Mentor for overall strategy, a Technical Mentor for 5G/B5G solution design, a Business Mentor for market and investment readiness, and roughly 12–15 hours of tailored mentoring. The programme runs from October 2026, with results announced in September and a Demo Day in January 2027.
