Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 has barely hit the shelves, yet attention is already shifting to what comes next. Samsung isn't expected to unveil the Galaxy S27 lineup until early 2027, but that hasn't stopped the leaks.
Over the past week, a steady stream of Galaxy S27 teasers has started painting a clearer picture of Samsung's next flagship, and they suggest the company may be planning more than its usual annual refresh.
None of the reports has been confirmed by Samsung. But together, they point to three notable changes: a possible Galaxy S27 Pro, a shake-up of Samsung's camera hardware, and the expansion of silicon-carbon batteries beyond its foldables.
A fourth Galaxy S model could be on the way
The biggest surprise so far isn't a new feature but a new addition to the lineup.
According to reports from WinFuture and GalaxyClub, Samsung is testing four Galaxy S27 models: the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Internally, they're said to carry the codenames NM1 through NM4, short for "Next Miracle."
