Steps to Delete Your Facebook Account on Mobile

Step 1: Launch the Facebook app on your iPhone or Android device and ensure you're logged in. Then, tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner

Step 2: Click "Settings & privacy"

Step 3: Under Settings & privacy, select "Settings"

Step 4: In the Account Center section, select "Personal details"

Step 5: Now, click "Personal details" again under the Account Settings section

Step 6: Next, tap "Account ownership and control"

Step 7: Click "Deactivation or deletion"

Step 8: Now, select the Facebook account you wish to delete

Step 9: Select the Delete account option and click "Continue." Then, follow the on-screen instructions to delete your account

Steps to Delete Your Facebook Account on PC

Step 1: Sign in to your Facebook account on a web browser and click your profile picture in the top right corner

Step 2: Select "Settings & privacy"

Step 3: Now, click "Settings"

Step 4: Following that, click "Personal details" under the Accounts Center section

Step 5: Once again, select "Personal details"

Step 6: Click "Account ownership and control"

Step 7: Afterwards, select "Deactivation or deletion"

Step 8: Click the Facebook account you wish to delete

Step 9: Now, select "Delete account", then click the Continue button to proceed. Hence, follow the on-screen process to delete your account

You can simply log back into your account within 30 days to cancel the deletion. However, if it's been over 30 days since the deletion process, your account will be gone forever.
