So, when you're cruising the internet, different ad companies show you ads for stuff you've been checking out. It's called Cross-Site tracking. The cool news is, if you're using Safari, Apple lets you stop this from happening.

With the new iOS 17, iPadOS 17, and macOS Sonoma updates, Apple has an awesome Advanced Tracking and Fingerprint Protection feature in Safari to get extra privacy.

Companies like Facebook and Instagram keep tabs on what you do online to create a digital ID or fingerprint. It's like a virtual you that helps them show ads based on what you've been up to online.

Although you can try using Ad Blockers and Private Browsing in Safari, they're not super effective against data trackers, spammers, and hackers. That's where Apple's Advanced Tracking and Fingerprint Protection comes in.
