How to privately share files on Samsung
Control your shared files with Samsung's private sharing feature.
Whenever I have to share files with sensitive information, I'm always skeptical about the security and integrity of the receiver. I'd pace and rack my brain for a secure means, and this is where the Samsung Private Sharing feature has come in handy to some extent. This feature is integrated into Quick Share and provides a smarter way to share files while maintaining control over who accesses them and for how long.
Unlike the regular way we share files, where they can be saved, forwarded, or kept indefinitely, Private Sharing uses blockchain-based encryption to ensure that only the intended receiver can view the file, without the ability to download, screenshot, or reshare it. While Samsung did a good job with this feature, you can only use it with people using a Samsung Galaxy phone.
With Private Sharing, you can also set expiration times, restrict access to specific users, and even check the file’s status later. This guide will show you how to use Private Sharing and Quick Share, keeping your files safe and under your control.

Conclusion
Samsung’s Private Sharing and Quick Share work together to provide secure and flexible file transfers. Private Sharing ensures that sensitive files remain protected with encryption, access restrictions, and automatic expiration, while Quick Share extends compatibility to other devices through link-based or direct transfers.
While Private Sharing has some limitations, like being exclusive to Galaxy devices and having file size restrictions, it’s an excellent feature for maintaining privacy when sharing important content.
