If you're not acquainted with Shazam, it's a widely-used service owned by Apple that can recognize song names, lyrics, music videos, TV shows, and more. It does this by listening to and identifying whatever is currently playing.

After being integrated with ‌‌Siri‌‌ for several years, Apple acquired Shazam in 2018 and made it a built-in song recognition feature in iOS and iPad.

Now, In macOS Sonoma 14.2, Apple integrated extra features for Shazam music recognition, making it more seamlessly a part of the Mac operating system.
