iFarmer, a Bangladeshi-based agritech startup has raised $2.1 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by IDLC Ventures, a unit of the IDLC Finance.  

  • iFarmer facilitates funding for farmers and aggregates farm produce to supply buyers, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • The firm operates in 19 districts in Bangladesh and serves over 63,000 farmers.
  • It claims it has increased its revenue 7.7 times in 2022.
  • The funding round was backed by Millville Opportunities based in the US and Startup Bangladesh Limited, a government firm.
