Detect Technologies, an India-based industrial artificial intelligence startup offering software-as-a-service (SaaS) for cutting-edge automation has raised $28 million in its new funding round led by Prosus Ventures.

  • The fund will be invested in bolstering its sales and marketing efforts in the US and Europe markets, hiring talents for sales and marketing, and improving its stack of product offerings.
  • Detect Technologies helps industrial organizations to automate and improve operational efficiencies using cloud-based applications and unifying people, data, equipment, and industrial processes using smart technologies.
  • The startup plans to increase its employee base for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering.
  • It has now raised $38 million in funding since its launch and is valued at $140 million as of the new raise that saw participation from Accel, Elevation Capital, Shell Ventures, Bharat Innovation Fund, and Bluehill Capital.
