Indonesian investment app Bibit secures $80 million in funding

Bibit, an Indonesia-based online investment app focusing on capital market and meeting of financial goals through investments has secured $80 million in its new funding round.

• The funds will help the firm build out new products and services, develop its tech team, and promote financial education through its program in the country.
• Launched in 2019, Bibit started as a platform for sharing investment ideas, stock news and information but now leads investment in innovative products and services in the capital market and assists users in investing in diversified assets.
• The platform has enabled over 500 investors to build their investment portfolios.
• GIC Private Limited (GIC) led the funding round with participation from Prosus Ventures and existing investors.
