INFOGRAPHIC: Top Asian Startup Funding—Week 46, 2025
These are the funding deals we tracked in Asia this week—featuring TCab Tech, Lighthouse Canton, Transcelestial, MindTalk, HRS Navigation, Anomaly Bio, The Librarian, and BioactivX.
Following last week’s $218 million in disclosed funding, this week saw over $109 million raised, with China taking the largest share, while India and Singapore captured noticeable portions of the round. Leading the charge, TCab Tech, a Shanghai-based electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) firm, secured RMB 300 million (approximately $43 million) in Series B++ funding. The round, led by Meridian Capital, HuaHan Capital, and Puhua Capital, will help the company expand operations and accelerate development.
In Singapore, Lighthouse Canton, a $5 billion asset management institution, closed a $40 million strategic funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with additional participation from Nextinfinity and Shyam Maheshwari’s SSG Capital. Meanwhile, Transcelestial, also based in Singapore, raised $9.7 million to support its expansion into the Japanese market, boosting its work in wireless laser communication technology.

India saw notable activity as well. MindTalk, a digital mental health platform, secured $7.3 million from Cadabams Group to strengthen its AI infrastructure and accelerate the integration of clinical research. Bengaluru-based surgical navigation startup HRS Navigation raised $5 million in Pre-Series A funding from GVFL, Physis Capital, Sathguru Catalysers, India EXIM Bank, and KITVEN to drive product innovation and global expansion.
Consequently, Singapore saw more funding activity this week than it has in the past month. Its biotech scene also scored multiple wins: Anomaly Bio raised $2.6 million to establish a state-of-the-art lab and advance research in novel proteins using fermentation technology. Golden Gate Ventures led a $2 million round for The Librarian, a startup transforming digital content solutions, while BioactivX secured $1.4 million in seed funding, led by Cocoon Capital, to advance its work in advanced wound care solutions.
Overall, this week’s funding rounds highlight a vibrant mix of innovation across China, India, and Singapore, spanning sectors from eVTOL and biotech to digital health and advanced tech. With investors showing strong confidence in both established and emerging startups, the stage is set for continued growth and expansion across the region.
