The iPhone Duo went on sale on Friday, October 23, and demand is already outstripping supply. At some Apple Stores, customers began lining up hours before opening, hoping to get their hands on Apple's first foldable iPhone.
The rush comes after online pre-orders sold out quickly, pushing estimated delivery dates into January 2027.
An Apple spokesperson told the Financial Times that demand for the iPhone Duo had been “nothing short of extraordinary” and said the company was “working hard to get this revolutionary new product into customers' hands as quickly as possible.”
If you order through Apple's US website now, you may have to wait until January for delivery. However, there are still a few options worth trying if you want to get the device sooner.
Here's how much the iPhone Duo costs in different markets and where to look to get one.

Where to Buy the iPhone Duo in Apple Stores
Apple has confirmed that selected stores will have a limited number of iPhone Duo units available for customers who arrive without a pre-order. However, availability is not guaranteed, and stores could sell out quickly.
The countries and regions where Apple has confirmed walk-in availability are:
- Australia
- Austria
- Belgium
- Canada
- Germany
- Macao
- Italy (selected stores)
- Mexico
- Netherlands
- Singapore
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Türkiye
- United Kingdom
- United States
If you plan to visit an Apple Store, check with your local branch before travelling. Even if a store receives stock, the available models and storage configurations may be limited.
Where You Need to Pre-Order the iPhone Duo
The iPhone Duo is also launching in several markets where Apple has not allocated units for walk-in purchases on launch day.
These include:
- China
- France
- Hong Kong
- India
- Japan
- Malaysia
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- Thailand
- United Arab Emirates
Customers in these markets should check Apple's online store for order and pickup options instead of assuming they can walk into a store and buy one.
iPhone Duo Carrier Deals and Authorised Retailers
Apple Stores aren't the only places to check. Mobile carriers such as Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile are also selling the iPhone Duo in the US, with some offering trade-in deals for eligible customers.
However, carrier stock is also constrained, and delivery estimates may vary. If you're considering a carrier purchase, check availability online or call a local branch before making the trip. Some deals also require an eligible trade-in or qualifying plan.
Authorised retailers may be worth checking, too, although their stock levels and delivery dates will vary.
