Jumba, a Kenya-based startup eliminating friction in the construction supply chain in Africa, has raised $1 million in its pre-seed funding round to build a business-to-business (B2B) platform focusing on the offline construction sector.

  • Launched in April, Jumba is improving efficiencies in the construction materials supply chain in Africa by linking manufacturers to hardware stores.
  • It currently operates in Nairobi, Garissa, Nakuru, and Njoro in Kenya, with plans to expand in East Africa.
  • Enza Capital, Seedstars International Ventures, Chandaria Capital, Future Africa, Logos Ventures, First Check Africa, and angel investors participated in the round.
