For weeks, almost everything we knew about the Pixel 11 came from leaks. That changed this week.

Google has now confirmed when its next Made by Google event will take place, officially named the Pixel 11 lineup, and revealed when pre-orders begin. That still leaves plenty of unanswered questions around the hardware, but at least we now know what’s reala, nd what’s still speculation.

/1. The Made by Google event is happening on August 12

This is now official. Google will host its annual Made by Google event on August 12 in New York, where it’s expected to unveil its next generation of Pixel devices.

The event has become Google’s equivalent of Apple’s September iPhone launch, serving as the company’s biggest hardware showcase of the year.

/2. The Pixel 11 is officially coming

Perhaps the biggest confirmation is the simplest one. Google’s own online store now prominently features a teaser reading:

“The next generation. Google Pixel 11. August 12.” That removes any remaining doubt about the product name after months of speculation.
