In case you don't know, Microsoft Edge is one of the best browsers in the market for power efficiency and RAM usage. In fact, it beats Chrome by many miles.

Soon, you will be able to control how much RAM the Microsoft Edge browser uses.

This is coming years after the tech giant introduced the power and performance mode for Edge to improve the RAM, CPU, and battery usage of the browser.

The new feature, spotted by @Leopeva64, shows the browser with a slider that allows you to limit how much RAM Edge uses – which is particularly targeted at PC gamers who require a lot of processing power while playing a PC game – although 'setting a low limit may impact browser speed'.

The upcoming feature is in testing mode in Canary versions of Edge at the moment, so it is uncertain when Microsoft will ship the feature.
