The Mobile World Congress (MWC 2026) is officially underway, and as expected, companies are already ushering in some really interesting releases here and there.

If you're looking for the craziest mobile offerings that have been announced so far at the event, we’ve got you.

Here are the craziest phones we've seen at the 2026 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona so far.

Honor's Robot Phone

The first thing that caught our eye was Honour's robot phone. If I had to describe it to you, I would call it a phone that had a proper webcam welded onto it. And while at first look, that's what it looks like, that's not exactly the whole story. The 'webcam' is the phone's reported 200MP camera mounted on a gimbal at the back of the phone.

The gimbal is also quite mobile and can fold up neatly into the back of the phone, giving you a camera that can follow you around, recognise faces, gesture and nod, even dance, all at the expense of a little camera bump on the back of the phone.

We don't have details about other parts of the phone or detailed specs of the camera attached, but it's a cute addition nonetheless. We're really interested in the IP rating of this thing, though. How will it survive if it gets dropped or if dust gets in there? We're not exactly sure. Hopefully, Honor answers these questions eventually.

The Leica Leitzphone

Xiaomi meets Leica is not exactly news when it comes to smartphones. The two have partnered on a number of Xiaomi phones in the past, as far back as the Xiaomi 12S series, but this time, both companies have decided to lean heavily on that collaboration with this phone. The Leica Leitzphone's main focal point is its camera and all things camera-related.

The phone features a mechanical camera ring for tactile zoom and controls, a stripped-back “essential” shooting interface designed by Leica, and signature touches like monochrome mode and Leica colour filters. The branding is everywhere, from the hardware design to the wallpapers, and the camera experience feels deliberately tuned to mirror Leica’s classic shooting philosophy.

But aside from the main Leica brand and the camera tweaks, the phone is really similar to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Same 1-inch sensor. Same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Same 6.9-inch 120Hz display.

But Leica clearly wants you to know this isn’t just a rebadged Xiaomi. This is a Leica phone.

The Oukitel WP63

Have you ever wanted a beefy, 20,000mAh battery phone with a built-in electric coil at the top that can start a fire? No? Well, Oukitel just announced a phone with these particular sets of skills too at MWC 2026.

This phone makes “all-day battery” claims look cute and acts more like a survival kit with a SIM slot. The massive battery can be used to charge your other devices, power a built-in speaker, and even run an ultra-bright rear LED lamp (bright enough to trigger a warning not to stare at it).

That, plus the electric coil that can be controlled through an app, gives you a phone targeted at campers and off-grid adventurers who may want one device to handle communication, light, and emergency heat.

Underneath the survivalist flair, it’s still a proper Android phone with a large display, 8GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and a 64MP camera. Just be ready for the trade-off: at 27mm thick, it’s basically the opposite of sleek.

The Legion Go Fold Concept

This isn't exactly a phone, or a tablet, or a gaming PC... it's kind of all of them. But Lenovo calls it an improvement on their gaming handheld. Let me explain.

At its core, the Windows gaming handheld is an 11.6-inch OLED tablet that folds down to a more handheld-friendly 7.7 inches. Snap on the detachable controllers, and it behaves like a traditional gaming handheld. Unfold it, and you get a much larger display for more immersive play. Turn it vertically, and you can split the screen between a game and a guide or stream. Attach the magnetic keyboard, and, just like that, it becomes a compact Windows laptop. It's like 3-in-1.

The controllers are doing a lot of heavy lifting here, too. They detach, combine into a standalone gamepad, and the right one can even double as a vertical mouse for shooters and strategy titles.

Under the hood (at least in concept form), it runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 chip with 32GB of RAM, making it a serious portable PC, even if it’s not chasing ultra settings. It’s still just a concept, but you get the idea.

Vivo X300 Ultra

We don't know how much this is going to cost when it launches, but try to take a guess. Vivo previewed a phone, but the real highlight was the accessories showcased alongside it.

Vivo is introducing a 400mm Zeiss telephoto extender that physically mounts to the phone, pushing optical zoom into territory usually reserved for dedicated cameras. Pair that with a pro-grade camera cage built with SmallRig, complete with grip controls, cooling fan, and accessory mounts , and this starts to look less like a smartphone and more like a modular camera rig that just happens to run Android.

The phone itself is pretty standard. It features a 200MP telephoto system, with support for 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording across focal lengths, custom LUT previews, and even ACES color support for smoother workflows in professional editing software.

Aside from these, though, not much else is known about the specs of the actual phone. And as mentioned before, the price of this 'kit' hasn't been revealed either.

The Honor Magic V6

In a more tame entry at the MWC 2026, compared to the other phone tech we've seen so far, the Honor Magic V6 foldable is Honor’s latest attempt at an ultrathin and durable foldable phone.

Folded, it measures just 8.75mm (and 4.0mm when open), keeping Honor’s “world’s thinnest foldable” bragging rights intact. But this year, the bigger flex isn’t just thinness, it’s battery.

The Magic V6 packs a massive 6,660mAh cell, one of the largest ever in a foldable, thanks to silicon-carbon battery tech. If you know foldables, you'll know how insane this sounds given where Foldables are coming from.

It also features a strengthened Super Steel Hinge rated for hundreds of thousands of folds, improved crease reduction, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance. Inside, it’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with a large 7.95-inch main display and a more “normal phone” 6.5-inch cover screen.
