Sony has officially unveiled the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for May 2026, and it’s one of the service’s biggest months yet.
Leading the charge is Star Wars Outlaws, alongside the return of Red Dead Redemption 2, the dark fantasy horror adventure Bramble: The Mountain King, and the supernatural RPG The Thaumaturge.
The new Game Catalog titles arrive for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers on May 19, while PlayStation Plus Premium members also get access to the arcade classic Time Crisis.
All PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Games for May 2026
/1. Star Wars Outlaws (PS5)

Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws headlines this month’s lineup as the franchise’s first fully open-world Star Wars experience.
Players step into the shoes of Kay Vess, a rising scoundrel trying to survive between the galaxy’s criminal syndicates during the era between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The game blends stealth, exploration, space travel, shootouts, and heist-style gameplay across multiple planets.
For Star Wars fans, this is easily one of the biggest PlayStation Plus additions of the year.
/2. Red Dead Redemption 2 Returns to PS Plus

Rockstar’s legendary western epic Red Dead Redemption 2 also joins the catalog once again.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest open-world games ever made, the game follows Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they struggle to survive during the collapse of the Wild West era.
Beyond its cinematic story, players also get access to Red Dead Online, featuring multiplayer missions, bounty hunting, exploration, and frontier survival.
Its return instantly strengthens May’s PS Plus lineup and gives subscribers another chance to experience one of gaming’s defining titles.
/3. Bramble: The Mountain King Brings Nordic Horror

One of the most underrated additions this month is Bramble: The Mountain King.
Inspired heavily by Nordic folklore, the game follows a young boy named Olle on a disturbing journey to rescue his kidnapped sister from terrifying mythological creatures.
While its visuals appear whimsical at first glance, Bramble quickly transforms into a tense horror adventure packed with unsettling monsters, eerie environments, and emotionally driven storytelling.
/4. The Thaumaturge Delivers Supernatural RPG Combat

Set in early 20th-century Warsaw, The Thaumaturge mixes detective storytelling, supernatural powers, and tactical turn-based combat.
Players control Wiktor Szulski, a mystic capable of reading emotions and summoning folklore-inspired entities known as salutors.
The game stands out for its morally complex narrative choices, psychological themes, and atmospheric world-building, making it one of the more unique RPGs entering PlayStation Plus this year.

/5. Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS5)

This Souls-lite action RPG combines fast-paced melee combat, firearms, and magic in a war against ancient gods threatening humanity’s survival.
/6. Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged (PS5, PS4)

The classic point-and-click adventure returns in a visually enhanced remaster, bringing George Stobbart and Nico Collard’s globe-trotting conspiracy mystery to modern platforms.
/7. Enotria: The Last Song (PS5)

Inspired by Italian folklore and theatrical traditions, Enotria blends Soulslike combat with a visually vibrant Mediterranean-inspired world where players wield magical masks to unlock new abilities and playstyles.
PlayStation Plus Premium Adds Time Crisis
For Premium subscribers, May also revives one of PlayStation’s most iconic arcade shooters. Time Crisis returns with updated features for PS4 and PS5, including gyro aiming support, enhanced controls, and the original PlayStation-exclusive content.
The classic cover-shooting gameplay remains intact, making it a nostalgic addition for longtime PlayStation fans.
