You don't have to wait until Black Friday to start shopping for discounted PlayStation games this year. Sony is getting ahead of the usual holiday shopping rush with its PlayStation Store Black Friday Deals 2026, which begin Wednesday, November 4, almost four weeks before Black Friday itself.
The promotion promises discounts of up to 75% across thousands of games, expansions and downloadable content for PS5, PS4 and PS VR2. More importantly, the sale isn't limited to older releases. Sony's early preview includes several recent and upcoming games, alongside established favourites such as Astro Bot.
There is one thing worth knowing before you start filling your wishlist, though: Sony hasn't attached individual discount percentages or prices to every game in its initial announcement. Those details are available through the PlayStation Store, with the actual offers depending on your region.
Here's everything you need to know about the PlayStation Black Friday sale, the games to look out for and how to get the discounts.

When Does the PlayStation Store Black Friday Sale 2026 Start and End?
The PlayStation Store Black Friday Deals begin on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 00:00, with the promotion running until Monday, November 30, at 23:59.
That gives you almost four weeks to browse the discounts and pick up games you've been waiting to buy. However, you shouldn't assume every deal will remain available throughout the promotion.
Sony has confirmed that the sale will have a mid-month refresh, with new offers and changes to the existing selection. This means there are several important dates to keep in mind:
- November 4: The first batch of Black Friday discounts goes live.
- November 16: PlayStation Store refreshes the promotion, with some offers replaced by new deals.
- November 20: Certain discounts expire at 23:59, even though the overall promotion continues.
- November 30: The Black Friday promotion officially ends at 23:59.
All these dates and times follow Sony's published PST/GMT/JST schedule. The precise availability and closing time can vary by regional storefront, so check your local PlayStation Store.
The November 16 refresh is particularly important if you're waiting for a game that doesn't appear in the initial selection. Sony hasn't confirmed exactly which titles will be added or removed, but the refresh gives players another opportunity to find discounts.
On the other hand, if you spot a game you've been waiting to buy, check its individual product page before putting off the purchase. Some offers will disappear on November 20, rather than staying until the end of the month.
