PlayStation Plus subscribers have a varied month ahead, with October’s Game Catalog mixing crime drama, open-world action, co-op shooting and horror.

The headline additions include Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk, which launches directly into the catalog on October 20.

There's more for subscribers to check out beyond those three games, though.

Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition join the Premium lineup, while other additions arrive on different dates throughout the month. Sony is also bringing back its HorrorFest promotions, with downloadable content offers, in-game rewards, and a limited-time movie discount.

Here’s everything coming to PlayStation Plus in October 2026, including the release dates, supported consoles, and membership tiers.

Forza Horizon 6 PS5 Release Date Reportedly January 26, 2027
A new Dealabs leak points to January 26, 2027, but Playground Games still officially lists Forza Horizon 6 for PS5 in 2026.

PlayStation Plus October 2026 Game Catalog: Full List and Release Dates

Most of October’s new Game Catalog titles become available on October 20, although several games have later dates or are already available in selected regions.

/1. Mafia: The Old Country — PS5

Mafia: The Old Country takes players to early 20th-century Sicily, where Enzo Favara must survive the criminal underworld and prove his worth to the Family.

The third-person action-adventure leans into the series’ familiar mix of cinematic storytelling, organised crime and period detail. Expect dangerous vendettas, close-quarters knife fights, firearms and turn-of-the-century vehicles as Enzo navigates a brutal world where loyalty can be just as dangerous as an enemy.

For subscribers who have been curious about the latest Mafia game, its arrival in the catalog offers a way to experience the story without purchasing a separate copy, provided the title is included in their regional subscription lineup.

/2. Horizon Forbidden West — PS5, PS4

Aloy returns in Horizon Forbidden West, exploring a dangerous frontier filled with enormous machines, unfamiliar tribes, and mysteries tied to humanity’s distant past.

The sequel expands on the original game’s open-world formula with new environments, machine encounters, and alliances to navigate. Aloy must also confront a powerful new threat while uncovering the secrets behind the world’s ongoing crisis.

Its availability on both PS5 and PS4 makes it one of the more accessible additions this month. Sony identifies this as a PlayStation Plus re-release, so subscribers who have played it before may already know what to expect.

/3. Mycopunk — PS5

Mycopunk is October’s day-one Game Catalog release, arriving on October 20 worldwide.

This mission-based looter shooter puts players in control of a team of robot misfits hired by the SAXON corporation to investigate a planet-wide fungal catastrophe. The New Atlas Hazard Crew must fight off hostile fungal creatures while uncovering what caused the disaster — and whether their employer is telling them the whole story.

Its main draw is customisation. The game features hundreds of handcrafted upgrades and supports up to four-player co-op, giving friends plenty of room to experiment with different builds while taking on its alien threat.

I’m particularly interested in how those upgrade systems work alongside the co-op combat. With a strange robotic cast and a deliberately offbeat sense of humour, Mycopunk could be a good option for subscribers looking for something lighter and more chaotic than October’s darker releases.

/4. The Midnight Walk — PS5, PS VR2

The Midnight Walk is available from October 14 in the US and UK, followed by October 15 in Japan.

Built using real clay and brought to life through stop-motion animation, this dark fantasy adventure follows the Burnt One and a lantern creature named Potboy. Players must protect Potboy’s flame while travelling through a world filled with unsettling monsters and strange characters.

The game features five interconnected tales of fire and darkness. It can be played on PS5 or in virtual reality with PS VR2, giving players a choice between a traditional screen-based experience and a more immersive presentation.

/5. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 — PS5, PS4

Arriving October 27 in the US, UK and Japan, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 takes players deeper into the abandoned Playtime Co. toy factory.

Following the events of the first chapter, players must solve puzzles, use equipment to navigate the environment, and avoid the factory’s terrifying inhabitants. Mommy is now the threat standing between players and escape, adding another layer of tension to the survival-horror formula.
