You can miss out on opportunities simply because you don't know where or how to look. Funding, mentorship, market access, and community are opportunities most early-stage founders and self-employed professionals only stumble across by accident, if at all.

For an early-stage founder or self-employed professional, landing the right fellowship or support programme can be the difference between staying stuck at "idea" and scaling, sometimes even the difference between growing and not surviving at all.

To skip the long search, Techloy has compiled a list of programmes currently open for applications to help you grow, whether you're running a startup, building solo, or somewhere in between.

4 Scholarships and Grants Still Open in September 2026
Most of these opportunities close this month, including one offering up to $200,000 and another worth £25,000.

/1. Google for Startups Immersion x Antler (Africa/EMEA)

Founders across Africa with a live product and real traction can apply for the Google for Startups Immersion, a new partnership between Google for Startups and Antler designed to go deeper on both the technical and business sides of building a high-growth company.

The programme runs in two phases: Phase 1 (22–28 October 2026) consists of four online sessions with dedicated tracks for founders and CTOs; Phase 2 (1 December 2026) selects 25 startups for an invite-only, in-person Immersion in London featuring technical sessions with Google engineers and business mentorship from Antler.

Open to ambitious founders across EMEA who are building and can demonstrate traction.

  • Programme: Hybrid technical and business immersion connecting EMEA founders to Google engineers and Antler mentors
