Thailand's PC market experienced a decline of 20.3% year over year (YoY) in the first quarter of 2023, reaching a total of 566,000 units, according to the IDC. However, there was a sequential growth of 12.9% during the same period.

In terms of market share, HP led the market with an 18.5% share, as the Techloy chart below shows, thanks to a successful marketing campaign and several deals in the public sector and the large business segment. Lenovo, ranking second overall, emerged as the leader in the commercial market due to multiple wins in the public sector and enterprise segment.

ASUS, although in third position in the overall market with 15.8%, remained the market leader in the consumer segment. Meanwhile, Dell Technologies secured the fourth position with a 13.1% market share and Acer Group occupied the fifth position with a 10.7% market share.
