In the second quarter of 2023, Thailand's PC monitor market saw a slight dip of 1.5% compared to the previous year, however, it managed a 0.1% growth from the previous quarter, reaching a total of 250,000 units sold.

The stabilization in the quarter resulted from the cautious management of tier 1 channel inventory by market players, which had been underway since the latter part of 2022. The inventory caution stems from the post-COVID-19 period, where consumer demand slowed. Vendors and channels are now walking a fine line between supply and demand. Meanwhile, the commercial market declined by 10.2% YoY to 77,000 units in 2Q23.

In terms of vendor performance, per the Techloy chart below, Acer Group led with a commanding 23.1% market share, rebounding impressively in Q2 23 after addressing ageing stock and optimizing channel inventory.
