Roblox is introducing a major change to how younger players use the platform. The company has officially launched Roblox Kids and Roblox Select, two new account experiences designed specifically for users under the age of 16. The update is now rolling out globally after an initial test in Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. According to Roblox, the new system is designed to make the platform safer and more age-appropriate by automatically adjusting game access, communication features, and parental controls based on a user's age. Rather than treating all younger users the same, Roblox says the new framework is intended to evolve as children grow, offering different levels of protection and flexibility depending on age.
