Recruiters keep saying they cannot find good talent, while job seekers keep saying they have applied to hundreds of roles and heard nothing back. Both things are true at the same time, and that tension was exactly what the conversation set out to unpack. 

The community fireside chat was hosted by Oludamola Ibiyemi, Founder and CEO of Your Diaspora Hub, who spoke with Gift Ikpefan, Recruitment Executive at Elvaridah and an international recruiter who places talent across Africa, APAC, Europe, and the US. 

By the end of the session, one thing became clear. The shortage many companies complain about is not really about a lack of skill, but something far less talked about: positioning.
