From PlayStation’s State of Play and Konami Press Start to Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show broadcast and BlizzCon 2026, here are eight major gaming showcases Xbox fans should watch this month.
September is shaping up to be a busy month for gaming showcases. While Xbox doesn't have its own major global showcase scheduled, several publishers and platforms are preparing presentations that could reveal new games, trailers, gameplay footage and updates for titles coming to Xbox.
There’s plenty to watch, too, with three showcases taking place on September 3 alone. Later in the month, Xbox heads to Tokyo Game Show, while Capcom, Blizzard and the PC Gaming Show also have major presentations lined up.
Here are the eight gaming showcases Xbox fans should keep an eye on in September 2026, along with their international broadcast times.
Louis Eriakha
PlayStation State of Play + State of Play Japan — September 3
PlayStation kicks off the month with State of Play, followed immediately by State of Play Japan on September 3.
The main showcase will feature updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners, including an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation from Square Enix.
State of Play Japan will then focus on upcoming games from developers in Japan and across Asia, with new gameplay, announcements, and other updates.

Konami Press Start Showcase — September 3
Konami is following PlayStation with its latest KONAMI PRESS START showcase later on September 3.
The presentation will focus on upcoming titles including Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and SILENT HILL: Townfall, alongside new gameplay footage, developer messages, and other announcements.
Silent Hill: Townfall will be particularly interesting for Xbox players, as the horror title is scheduled to launch later this month.

The FPS Games Show — September 3
FPS fans have another showcase to watch later that evening.
The FPS Games Show will feature 16 titles, including Rainbow Six Siege, Escape from Tarkov, Ready or Not, SCUM, Gray Zone Warfare, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, Bodycam, Road to Vostok and more.
With a lineup packed with tactical, military, and multiplayer shooters, this could be one of the more interesting showcases for Xbox FPS fans.
