PlayStation is doubling up on its showcase schedule this week.
Sony has announced that State of Play and State of Play Japan will return on Thursday, September 3, with the two broadcasts airing back-to-back. The first presentation will focus on announcements and updates from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners, while State of Play Japan will shift the spotlight toward upcoming games from developers across Japan and Asia.
There's already one major title confirmed for the first show, with Square Enix set to provide an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation.
Here's everything you need to know about when to watch both presentations and what to expect.
When Is the PlayStation State of Play?
The first State of Play will take place on Thursday, September 3, followed immediately by State of Play Japan.

The two presentations will air consecutively, meaning viewers can tune in once and watch both showcases without having to come back later.
