After months of delays because of bugs and glitches, Samsung's latest system UI update, One UI 7, has finally started rolling out to users everywhere.

The visual overhaul was quite refreshing, to be honest, but one thing that quickly stuck out to many was how Samsung decided to split its quick settings and notifications at the top, confusing many users at first.

This might feel perfect to several users, but to the rest of us who prefer things as they used to be, Samsung thankfully left the option of switching back to combining both quick settings and notifications as one.

Samsung’s One UI 7 finally resumes expanding to more regions, including India

How to Combine Quick Settings and Notifications in Samsung One UI 7

Step 1: Swipe down specifically from the top right corner to bring down quick settings, and then tap on the pen icon

Step 2: Tap on 'Panel Settings.'

Step 3: Select the 'Together' option. This change should automatically be saved.

Step 4: If you are feeling a bit sceptically about the change being saved, you can go back and then select 'Done' to save your changes.

Step 5: And just like that, whenever you swipe down, you'll be able to see both notifications and quick settings. Simply swipe down a second time to see the expanded quick settings menu.

Conclusion

Although Samsung's new layout is daring, it's comforting to know that users can still control its appearance. One UI 7 has something to offer everyone, regardless of whether you're team "Together" or not. You have the option to choose between the new "Together" layout and the old, more scattered notification format, avoiding a potentially contentious experience.

No matter what style you like, One UI 7 lets you change how your device looks and works to fit your needs, making your Galaxy experience both smooth and fun.
