EA Sports is almost ready to kick off another NFL season, with Madden NFL 27 set to arrive on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET across consoles and PC, but early access starts on August 6 for EA Play and MVP+ members. Standard Edition runs $69.99, Deluxe is $99.99 with early access built in.

Headlined by Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, this year's entry brings updated rosters, fresh player ratings, and early access for eligible players before its worldwide launch.

Madden NFL 27 Release Date and Early Access Times

Players who purchase eligible editions or subscribe to EA's membership services won't have to wait until launch day, though. Early access begins on August 6 at 2:00 p.m. ET for EA Play members on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, as well as MVP+ members on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

A second wave of early access begins on August 10 at 2:00 p.m. ET for players who purchase the Deluxe Edition, MVP Bundle, or subscribe to EA Play Pro on PC. Unlike previous generations, the latest installment is focused entirely on modern hardware, delivering the newest gameplay features across current-generation systems.

EA Sports is releasing two editions of the game. The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 and includes early access along with additional in-game content. Players can pre-order either edition through EA's official website and participating digital or physical retailers.
