Sony has revealed the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for October 2026. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 took first place on the PS5 charts in both North America and Europe.
According to the official PlayStation Store download rankings, EA Sports FC 27 and BeamNG.drive followed, though in a different order in each region. Hard Bullet topped the PS VR2 charts in both markets. In free-to-play, Once Human and Fortnite each took first place in one region.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 leads PS5 downloads
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was the most downloaded PS5 game in both the US and Canada and Europe. That gives Activision’s latest shooter a clean sweep of the regional charts.
BeamNG.drive was another standout. It ranked second in North America and third in Europe, while EA Sports FC 27 finished third in North America and second in Europe.
Phantom Blade Zero placed fourth in both regions, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer was eighth on both charts. Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve made the top 10 in North America and the top 15 in Europe.
The regional split shows up further down the list. Madden NFL 27 and College Football 27 charted only in North America. Planet Zoo 2, Mafia III: Definitive Edition, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and It Takes Two made Europe’s top 20 but not North America’s. Minecraft, PEAK, and Enshrouded appeared in both charts but ranked higher in Europe.
Halloween also showed up in the charts. In North America, Halloween placed 12th, Hellraiser: Revival 13th and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse 16th. Hellraiser: Revival also reached 18th in Europe.
Marvel’s Wolverine, which topped the North American PS5 chart in September, fell to 14th in October. Grand Theft Auto V stayed in the top 20 in both regions.
