Nintendo has officially lifted the curtain on its playable lineup for Gamescom 2026, giving fans a clearer picture of what they'll be able to experience when the annual gaming expo opens later this month.
Taking place in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to August 30, Gamescom remains one of the biggest gaming events in the world, and Nintendo looks set to arrive with a mix of first-party exclusives, major third-party releases, and one of the year's biggest surprises for Switch 2 owners.
Here's what attendees can expect from Nintendo's booth.
Call of Duty Makes a Historic Return to Nintendo
Perhaps the biggest surprise in Nintendo's Gamescom lineup is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
The latest installment in Activision's blockbuster shooter franchise marks the series' first appearance on Nintendo's newest console, fulfilling Microsoft's long-term commitment to bring Call of Duty back to Nintendo platforms following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Its playable debut will likely be one of the busiest attractions on the show floor, with players eager to see how the franchise performs on Switch 2 hardware.
