This Indian startup raised $6 million to revolutionize the workspace interior industry

OfficeBanao, an Indian startup that offers a comprehensive workspace interiors platform to businesses in the country has raised $6 million in seed funding led by Lightspeed Venture.

Founded in 2022, OfficeBanao offers a comprehensive workspace interiors platform that streamlines the process for clients by bringing together architects, contractors, designers, material suppliers, and office furniture providers under one umbrella.

OfficeBanao covers all stages of design, procurement, and execution for projects that cater to a diverse range of commercial interiors from modest $12,200 office spaces to sprawling $610,000 designs and beyond.

The Gurugram-headquartered startup currently has customers in more than 15 cities, including in some of the untapped tier-2 cities of the country. Over the next few months, the startup is looking to expand to the top 25 markets.

With the new funding, OfficeBanao plans to expand its headcount from 110 to 250-300 people to create a technology-driven foundation and better meet the demand.
