The African venture capital investment landscape's immunity is beginning to wane, succumbing to the pressures of the overall global venture investment slowdown, based on Techloy's analysis.
Further digging into the data shows that the venture investment slowdown began much later in Africa than in other parts of the world with the continent experiencing a 53% decline YoY and 34% decline QoQ in the amount of investment raised in the third quarter of 2022, a number similar to the global trend decline.
