Startups across Africa and the Middle East raised a combined $90.1 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds tracked by Techloy, with investor capital flowing primarily into cybersecurity and data centers. Two large Israeli cybersecurity deals accounted for most of the week's funding activity.

The Week's Largest Startup Funding Rounds
Here are the biggest disclosed startup funding rounds across Africa, the Middle East and Israel this week.
1. Oak, $60 million, Identity security, Israel
Oak gives companies one system to manage and secure access for employees, machines, and AI agents, replacing a mix of separate tools. Accel, Greylock Partners, and CRV co-led the seed round as Oak launched out of stealth. Oak plans to put the money toward growing its team and continuing to build out the platform.
2. Beacon Security, $13 million, Cybersecurity, Israel
Beacon Security's platform gives security teams and the AI tools they use a single accurate view of activity across their systems. Notable Capital led the seed round, with Holly Ventures, AlphaDrive Ventures, and more than 60 cybersecurity founders and executives also investing. Beacon will use the money to speed up platform development for its enterprise customers.
