Startups across Latin America raised a combined $135.5 million this week, based on disclosed funding rounds, with investor capital flowing primarily into fintech, from consumer lending to legal-services finance to digital banking. 

Fintech startups secured the largest investments, while legaltech and healthtech companies also raised capital to scale AI-powered products and expand across the region.

/1. Cashea, $100M, Fintech (BNPL), Venezuela 

Cashea operates a buy now, pay later (BNPL) platform that allows consumers to split purchases into interest-free instalments, making everyday goods and services more accessible. The platform has become one of Venezuela's fastest-growing consumer fintech companies, helping users access credit in a market with limited financing options.

The company raised $100 million in a Series B round led by Upper90, with participation from existing investors. The funding will support Cashea's expansion across Venezuela, strengthen its lending capabilities, and introduce new financial products as it scales its consumer finance platform.
